Lin's Dry Noodles(林家乾麵), the Historic Noodle Restaurant Serving Scrumptious Dry Noodles in Taipei, Taiwan!

On Oct. 21, 2017, because I had to go to Taipei, Taiwan for something in the morning, I decided to detour to Lin's Dry Noodles near Chien-Kuo Senior High School for the breakfast I missed so much!

In fact, I used to have breakfast and lunch when I was a senior high student. For me, Lin's Dry Noodles was not only delicious but also my youth.

The menu here was also simple, only the dry noodles with different sizes and fish ball soup with/without a poached egg.

Same as the past, I ordered one medium bowl of dry noodles at 38 TWD (=1.26 USD) and one bowl of fish ball soup with a poach egg at 35 TWD(=1.16 USD).

The dry noodles was simply seasoned with shrimp oil and soy sauce. I just mixed them and the noodles smelled so alluring.

I also strongly recommended the fish ball soup! I ordered it almost every time!

The meal including one medium bowl of noodles and one bowl of soup cost me 73 TWD (=2.41 USD).

There were condiments on the table. I thought that the vinegar and spicy sauce made the dry noodles more scrumptious!

Due to my preference, I added more spicy sauce. It tasted so great! The texture of the noodle was quite good! I loved the al-dente noodles so much!

The soup was also quite umami with white pepper powder. The egg yolk was running after I bite the poached egg! And the inside of the fish ball with bouncy texture was ground meat. But I forgot to take a photo for it. I would upload a new photo the next time.

The meal served by Lin's Dry Noodles(林家乾麵) was as scrumptious as before, but the prices were not.

Personally speaking, I admire the historic and popular restaurants which serve only one or two features that look simple but taste scrumptious so much! They do the simple best, but others fail to do.
